WHY WE STARTED RISE
We started Rise because we’re in the midst of an insufficient sleep epidemic (CDC, 2014) that is getting worse since we started tracking in 1985. The current epidemic is leading to higher mortality rates (Cappuccio, 2010) and we’re performing worse in nearly all aspects of life (RAND, 2016).
Today, most of us think of sleep as a luxury. Rise is creating a world where healthy sleep is standard.
